Our Story

Our shop is named after our beloved golden retriever, Finn. Finn loves a scoop of vanilla, so you may just see him hanging around the shop!

The creation of Finn’s was truly a family affair. It began with a simple love for ice cream and a shared interest for exploring new shops wherever we traveled. Each visit to a different ice cream shop inspired us, fueling a dream to create a place where people could gather and enjoy delicious, creamy ice cream. Jamie also has fond childhood memories of being at the KY State Fair where his grandfather sold ice cream that was dipped in chocolate and rolled in nuts.

When Finn's first opened, we proudly served ice cream from Chaney's Dairy Barn in Bowling Green, KY. From the very beginning, the Chaney family encouraged us and helped us see that making our own ice cream was possible. They took the time to teach us the craft of ice cream making. We will forever be thankful for them.

Our mission at Finn’s is simple—create a craveable, quality ice cream and create a welcoming space in the community where people can enjoy meaningful time with others. Our location is a little off the beaten path, offering a quieter destination, away from the bustle, where visitors can truly relax and savor time with loved ones.
